IMMUNIZATION AND WELLNESS CARE | We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. The importance of regular physical examinations cannot be overemphasized. Pets age the equivelant of 5-10 human years for every year of life. We will guide their health from infancy to old age. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages. |
LASERS We are very excited to offer you laser surgery for your pet. The use of laser is superior to traditional methods of surgery as it results in less pain, bleeding, swelling and speeds recovery. We perform nearly all surgical procedures with the laser. It is ideally suited for tumor and cyst removal, and many of these procedures may be performed on an outpatient basis using local anesthesia for your convenience.Cat declaws using laser are vastly supperior to traditional methods. It is astonishing how quickly cats recover and return to normal following laser declaw surgery. |

EMERGENCY AND CRITICAL CARE | In any emergency, seconds count. Our experienced staff is equipped to administer the ABCs of basic life support – Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Cardiac compressions. Emergency care is available 24 hours and provided by our own staff. Simply call our regular phone number, 282-0867, our doctors carry pagers and cell phones and will contact you immediately to make arrangements. |
DENTAL CARE | Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's health. Maintainig good oral health prevents serious damage to vital organs such as the heart, liver, lungs, and kidneys. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. We examine each tooth individually to determine if further treatment may be required. |
SURGERY | We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and the safest anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Surgical services and facilities include: fully trained veterinary and technical staff, to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet including laser surgery, heated surgery tables for greater comfort; advanced sterilization techniques; respiratory and oxygen saturation monitors; intensive after surgery care. Preoperative blood work is performed in our lab and is recommended for all patients undergoing anesthetic procedures. IV fluids are available to increase safety for pets at greater risk. |
BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE | Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. We employ trained animal behaviorists who help determine the cause of such disorders as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen for the client. |
GROOMING | Keep your pet looking as good as she feels. Our groomers have experience with all breeds and strive to help your pet look its best– your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. Services also include nail trim and ear cleaning. Talk to our groomers about your pets specific grooming needs and they will be happy to accommidate you. |
BOARDING | Pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our highly qualified kennel attendants do the same when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care (such as brushing and cuddling), and supervised outdoor playtime to keep them happy and active. |
BIRDS, REPTILES, RABBITS AND SMALL MAMMALS | Veterinary medicine for exotic pets is growing as the popularity of these animals increase. With better public education in health, nutritional and environmental management, all species have a greater chance for living longer and healthier lives.
